One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Winnipeg Gold Digger sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Winnipeg Gold Digger suddenly started to galop. Lars Lindberg had to struggle to get Winnipeg Gold Digger to tror again and succeded after 30 m. Get The Chill suddenly started to galop. Ove A Lindqvist had to struggle to get Get The Chill to tror again and succeded after 40 m. Smooth Sculpture suddenly started to galop. Erik Adielsson had to struggle to get Smooth Sculpture to tror again and succeded after 50 m.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Smooth Sculpture sprinted to the front. Shock Wave started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Get The Chill took the lead after 1000m. Winnipeg Gold Digger didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Get The Chill followed by Protection Angel and Happy Sound. Lane two Winnipeg Gold Digger followed by Going To Moscow and Smooth Sculpture.

Galaxyland Rocket was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. With only a little left of the race Get The Chill galoped for 20 m. Winnipeg Gold Digger suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

Ove A Lindqvist tried a little too much on the homestretch and Get The Chill started to galopp and lost 20 m.

Protection Angel won the race after a spectacular finish.
