The weather had been good all week and Vaasa was in good shape.



The players just had time to make their last bets before the start. All horses seemed to be in good shape this day.





Tremendous Potential could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Unknown suddenly started to galop. had to struggle to get Unknown to tror again and succeded after 20 m. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 30 m. Unknown was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Diamond Master, Clever Night, Munga Borys, Ginger Man, Merlin's Maid, Plastic Purple Dino, Tremendous Potential, Bricks Marlin. Unknown started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 0 m.




Ginger Man looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Merlin's Maid couldn't come out from behind the leader, Diamond Master.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Diamond Master followed by Merlin's Maid and Clever Night. Lane two Ginger Man followed by Bricks Marlin and Tremendous Potential. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Unknown gallopped for 10 m.



Diamond Master kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Zvjezdolik galopped for 50 m on the homestretch. Zvjezdolik was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. Zvjezdolik showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




Merlin's Maid won. Bricks Marlin came in second. Diamond Master caught third place.
