One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Deux Mille. Hope Set High ended up behind the leader. Cashbox got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

Deux Mille was in fine shape and held the lead.

Sala took the lead after 1000m. Deux Mille didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Unknown suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 50 m. driver couldn't keep Hope Set High to trotting so they were disqualified. Toro Di Palermo was disturbed and galoped 30 m. Cashbox was disturbed and galoped 40 m.

Sad Moonlight looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.

Sad Moonlight sat safely in the lead after 2000m. Deux Mille gallopped 20 m after 2000m.

With only a little left of the race Deux Mille galoped for 50 m. Sad Moonlight kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Alexander Heisholt tried a little too much on the homestretch and Hen Til Hugge started to galopp and lost 10 m. Sad Moonlight was disturbed and galopped for 10 m.

Toro Di Palermo sprinted over the finishline before Final Account and Sala.
