The weather had been good all week and Åby was in good shape.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were
King Of Gold.
Old Eric ended up behind the leader.
Wonder Star got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Perfect Speed suddenly started to galop. Björn Goop had to struggle to get Perfect Speed to tror again and succeded after 20 m. When the startcar left the field Old Eric started to galop and lost 30 m. Dove Princess was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m.
Old Eric quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.
Creeping Mind sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.
Nothing seemed to be able to stop
Creeping Mind today. It continued in the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and
Wonder Star gallopped for 10 m.
Wonder Star put some pressure on the leader and could take over.
Sergeant
Play suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.
Wonder Star galopped for 50 m on the homestretch.
Perfect Speed was disturbed and galopped for 20 m.
Killing Tengil showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.
Creeping Mind sprinted over the finishline before
King Of Gold and
Sergeant
