One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





La Empire could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Unknown was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m. Unknown was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Melody Rocker sprinted to the front. Unknown started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Shock Wave took the lead after 1000m. Jolly Sunflower didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Jolly Sunflower looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



C. C. Cowboy suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

Connoisseur was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Connoisseur galop. Connoisseur lost 50 m.
