One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Good Looking Cube found a gap and took the lead. Hanging In followed before Extra Cheese. There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. Hanging In was disturbed and galoped 30 m. Good Looking Cube was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Standings after 1500m . Lane one Good Looking Cube followed by Hanging In and Honourable Satellite. Lane two Extra Cheese followed by Bogan Carlson and All For Love. All For Love showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Good Looking Cube sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch. Good Looking Cube kept the speed the whole finish and won before Extra Cheese and Hanging In. Results
