It had been raining for several days at Bollnäs but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Juodaan Viinaa took the lead after a very quick start. Olle Carlsson wanted a little to much in the start and Juodaan Viinaa galoped for 40 m. When the startcar left the field Double Scratch started to galop and lost 30 m.

Old Runner quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Old Runner was disturbed and galoped 10 m.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 50 m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Old Runner followed by Ozzy Da Bozzy and Universe Power. Lane two Juodaan Viinaa followed by Win It All and Sun King. Something caused a disturbance in the field and T-bone Walker gallopped for 30 m.

T-bone Walker galloped for 60m and was disqualified. T-bone Walker was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. Juodaan Viinaa speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Old Runner never caught up with Juodaan Viinaa who won. Win It All came third.
