One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Close Fist took the lead after a very quick start.




Close Fist was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.




The leader got disturbed by something and Smelly Grey Rat took the lead rather easily. Loving Forest showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




Smelly Grey Rat was still in the lead after 1500m. Jolly Thought galloped for 30 m.



Smelly Grey Rat were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Smelly Grey Rat didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
