It had been raining for several days at Åby but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Las Vegas Gambler. Lying Galaxy ended up behind the leader. Sliding Crusher got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Steel Cube was to tense at the start and galloped for 20 m.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Sliding Crusher galoped after 1000m and lost 10 m.

Las Vegas Gambler never caught up with Steel Cube who won. Lying Galaxy came third.
