One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Illinois Saint found a gap and took the lead. Bandido Cherry followed before Sir Lancelot. Unknown was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m. Tony Thompson was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m.




Awesome Love One was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead. Big Architecture showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Big Architecture was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. Hans Petter Tholfsen tried a little too much on the homestretch and Big Architecture started to galopp and lost 10 m. Awesome Love One galopped for 30 m on the homestretch. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Zoeterd Zegepraal galop. Zoeterd Zegepraal lost 50 m.




Bandido Cherry never caught up with Illinois Saint who won. Sir Lancelot came third.
