The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Leangen this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Market Maker could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Olav Mikkelborg wanted a little to much in the start and Market Maker galoped for 30 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Golden Fighter, Winner C.s., Front Box, Market Maker, Lady Hurricane, Tour Eiffel, COUNTER, Long Legged Linda.




Front Box sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.



Tour Eiffel sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.

Long Legged Linda was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Market Maker galop. Market Maker lost 10 m. COUNTER galoped for 60m and was disqualified.




Lady Hurricane won the race after a spectacular finish.
