Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Kaukonen track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Frozen Sword took the lead after a very quick start. Unknown was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m.




Carmensita saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 30 m.




The leader got disturbed by something and Frozen Sword took the lead rather easily. Unknown galoped after 1000m and lost 30 m.




Frozen Sword was still in the lead after 1500m.



With only a little left of the race Pray For Me galoped for 10 m. Hannibal Pond suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Pray For Me galop. Pray For Me lost 40 m. Hannibal Pond galopped for 40 m on the homestretch.




Frozen Sword won the race after a spectacular finish.
