One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Cornichon could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Unknown showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping.

Moonlight Glittering was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead. Cornichon started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Numero Una was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 30 m. Force Of Lightning was disturbed and galoped 30 m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Numero Una followed by Light Piece and Moonlight Glittering. Lane two Falling Muscle followed by Cornichon and Rolling Sunshine.

Cornichon galloped for 60m and was disqualified. Numero Una were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Numero Una didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
