One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Sunset Heat found a gap and took the lead. I´m A Believer followed before Breaking Stardust.




This is the positions after 500m. Mad Bouquet, Flower Pearl, Breaking Stardust, Sunset Heat, Pointing Sunflower, I´m A Believer, Minimou, Tropical Pony. Tropical Pony was disturbed and galoped 50 m.




Sunset Heat looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Pointing Sunflower couldn't come out from behind the leader, Mad Bouquet. Flower Pearl showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




Pointing Sunflower looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



Pointing Sunflower looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Pointing Sunflower didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
