One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Liberator could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 40 m.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. Unknown started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. Unknown showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Neckbreaker was disturbed and galoped 40 m.




Tripping Primadonna looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Dolce Progetto couldn't come out from behind the leader, Liberator.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Liberator today. It continued in the lead. Unknown started to gallop after 1500m and Unknown had to struggle to get it back in trotting. Dolce Progetto suddenly took over the lead.



Liberator was first on the homestretch followed by Dolce Progetto and Lone Box.






Lone Box never caught up with Liberator who won. Dolce Progetto came third.
