One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Ace On River. Give Me Way ended up behind the leader. Wondering Peach got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Wondering Peach was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Give Me Way, Wondering Peach, Ace On River, Toucher De Éclat, Portable Strategy, Aruna, Black Temple Aron, Gorgeous Sunshine. A bird flew just in front of Ace On River who started to galop and lost 10 m.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Give Me Way was still in the lead after 1500m. Portable Strategy galloped for 50 m. Newport galloped way to long and was disqualified.

Give Me Way kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Ace On River made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Give Me Way.
