Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Arvika track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Shining Moon. Waving Forest ended up behind the leader. Glorious Forest got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.




Glorious Forest quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Shining Moon showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




The leader got disturbed by something and Flickering Jewel took the lead rather easily.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Flickering Jewel followed by Waving Forest and Corrente. Lane two Polished Star followed by Glorious Forest and Poppy. Corrente galloped for 60m and was disqualified. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Poppy gallopped for 50 m.




Polished Star suddenly took over the lead. Glorious Forest gallopped 20 m after 2000m.



Polished Star were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Polished Star didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
