One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Cube took the lead after a very quick start. Unknown was to eager when the car accellerated, galopped and was disqualified. When the startcar left the field Diamond Claws started to galop and lost 10 m.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Unknown suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 20 m.
Diamond Claws galloped for 60m and was disqualified.

Cube accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.
Diamond Claws started to gallop after 1500m and Leif Witasp had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Cube kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.
