Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Åby track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Stretching Red took the lead after a very quick start.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Perfect Thunder sprinted to the front.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Stretching Red showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Layia Flower was disturbed and galoped 20 m.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Perfect Thunder today. It continued in the lead.



Perfect Thunder were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Calming Technology galopped for 30 m on the homestretch.




No-one could catch Perfect Thunder today who won before Take A Chance and Lancashire Tuscan.
