The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Åby today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Close Night sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Unknown was to tense at the start and galloped for 20 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Heavy Beard sprinted to the front.




The leader got disturbed by something and Close Night took the lead rather easily. Unknown galoped after 1000m and lost 40 m.




Close Night was still in the lead after 1500m.



Close Night were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Winner of todays race was Close Night. Force Of Fortune came in second. Les Meilleur became third.
