It had been raining for several days at Åby but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Driver´s Choice found a gap and took the lead. Superior Passage followed before Gentleman Plan.




This is the positions after 500m. Gentleman Plan, Simple Reason, Miss Remedy, Driver´s Choice, Superior Passage, Eliya Rajini, Remember My Name, First Time Flying. Unknown started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Superior Passage looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Eliya Rajini couldn't come out from behind the leader, Gentleman Plan. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 50 m.




Superior Passage looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Unknown galloped for 50 m.



Superior Passage kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

First Time Flying was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. First Time Flying galopped for 10 m on the homestretch.




Driver´s Choice won. Superior Passage came in second. Eliya Rajini caught third place.
