Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Åby track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Glowing Witch found a gap and took the lead. Trembling Stardust followed before Helpful Tank.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Helpful Tank sprinted to the front. A bird flew just in front of Ready To Win who started to galop and lost 40 m.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Unknown galoped after 1000m and lost 20 m. Unknown suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 50 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Helpful Tank followed by Trembling Stardust and True Evolution. Lane two Swedish Fighter followed by Glowing Witch and Sudden Sky.



With only a little left of the race Lone Devil galoped for 30 m. Helpful Tank kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Lone Devil galoped way to long and was disqualified.




Trembling Stardust never caught up with Helpful Tank who won. Glowing Witch came third.
