It had been raining for several days at Kalmar but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Remember My Name took the lead after a very quick start.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Bombardier sprinted to the front. Remember My Name started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Gift From Heaven looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Silverboy couldn't come out from behind the leader, Bombardier.




Gift From Heaven accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.



With only a little left of the race Gift From Heaven galoped for 30 m. Remember My Name speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Glowing Forest galop. Glowing Forest lost 10 m.




Climbing Asteroid sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
