One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Mayday Mayday could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.

Mayday Mayday was in fine shape and held the lead. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 30 m. Polished Blast started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. A bird flew just in front of Sergeant Asteroid who started to galop and lost 10 m.

Polished Blast looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Ride The Lightning couldn't come out from behind the leader, Mayday Mayday.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Mayday Mayday followed by Ride The Lightning and Godzilla. Lane two Polished Blast followed by Sneaking Wardrobe and Sprinter. Mønlight started to gallop after 1500m and Henrik Svensson had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Sneaking Wardrobe was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. With only a little left of the race Mønlight galoped for 30 m. Mayday Mayday sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Sneaking Wardrobe galoped way to long and was disqualified. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Sleeping Ruby galop. Sleeping Ruby lost 30 m.

Winner of todays race was Mayday Mayday. Polished Blast came in second. Ride The Lightning became third.
