One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Saltando Marziale found a gap and took the lead. Nlg Running Good followed before Stargazer. Nlg Running Good was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




Nlg Running Good looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Saltando Marziale couldn't come out from behind the leader, Stargazer.
