It had been raining for several days at Oviken but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Hob Nob. Brown Collar American ended up behind the leader. King Of Cajun got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Unknown galloped way to long and was disqualified. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 10 m.

Rugged Strategy saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 50 m.

Brown Collar American looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that King Of Cajun couldn't come out from behind the leader, Rugged Strategy. Hob Nob was disturbed and galoped 30 m. Tricky Box showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Rugged Strategy followed by Hob Nob and King Of Cajun. Lane two Brown Collar American followed by Gengive Mig Følelse and Beam Me Up. Unknown galloped for 60m and was disqualified.

Rugged Strategy kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.

Rugged Strategy sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Born Bowler galopped for 30 m on the homestretch. Unknown tried a little too much on the homestretch and Born Bowler started to galopp and lost 20 m.

Hob Nob sprinted over the finishline before Rugged Strategy and Brown Collar American.
