One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Valentino Rossi. Circle Star ended up behind the leader. Knick The Nock got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. When the startcar left the field Admiral Plan started to galop and lost 50 m.

Poincon Express saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Crispy Captain was disturbed and galoped 10 m.

Stockholm Waitress sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.

Thomas Uhrberg tried a little too much on the homestretch and Grizzly Fever started to galopp and lost 40 m. Circle Star galoped for 60m and was disqualified.

Poincon Express won. Gopinatha Pond came in second. Admiral Plan caught third place.
