It had been raining for several days at Eskilstuna but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Lady Nadja could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.

This is the positions after 500m. Champagne Punch, Rebel Yell, Pøát Splnit, Mad Darkness, Walking Spring, Fast Bomb, The Only Choise, Lady Nadja. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 40 m.

The Only Choise looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Champagne Punch couldn't come out from behind the leader, Rebel Yell.

Rebel Yell was still in the lead after 1500m.

Rebel Yell looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Roland Jansson tried a little too much on the homestretch and Lady Nadja started to galopp and lost 30 m.

Sixtyfive O´clock won the race after a spectacular finish.
