Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Vermo track was in top-condition.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

More Than Anything found a gap and took the lead. Pinstrip´s Canepa followed before Madame Pastis. Unknown was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Spring Break, More Than Anything, Listening Thrasher, Aslak, Perfect Sunray, Arpapeli Kuningas, Pinstrip´s Canepa, Madame Pastis. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 10 m. Blazing Hooves was disturbed and galoped 30 m.

More Than Anything looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Listening Thrasher couldn't come out from behind the leader, Spring Break. Unknown galoped after 1000m and lost 40 m. Unknown galoped after 1000m and lost 50 m.

With only a little left of the race Unknown galoped for 10 m. More Than Anything looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Listening Thrasher couldn't come out from behind the leader, Spring Break.

Unknown tried a little too much on the homestretch and Madame Pastis started to galopp and lost 50 m. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Aslak galop. Aslak lost 10 m. Aslak galoped way to long and was disqualified.

Arpapeli Kuningas sprinted over the finishline before More Than Anything and Pinstrip´s Canepa.
