One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were
Prince Dragon.
Frozen
Rose ended up behind the leader.
High Blue got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. wanted a little to much in the start and Unknown galoped for 20 m. Unknown was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m.
The leader couldn't hold the lead and
Görel Pond sprinted to the front. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 10 m. A bird flew just in front of
High Blue who started to galop and lost 40 m.
Görel Pond clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Unknown galoped after 1000m and lost 30 m. Unknown galloped way to long and was disqualified.
Victronicus looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Unknown started to gallop after 1500m and Unknown had to struggle to get it back in trotting.
Victronicus didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.
High Blue was disturbed and galopped for 50 m.
Peu Miracle suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.
Unknown tried a little too much on the homestretch and
High Blue started to galopp and lost 10 m.
Prince Dragon made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before
Peu Miracle.
