One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Champion Du Champagne. Lonely Sunflower ended up behind the leader. Close Stereo got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. When the startcar left the field Old Thrasher started to galop and lost 30 m.




Champion Du Champagne was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Champion Du Champagne was still in the lead after 1500m.




Close Stereo seemed to be in top-form this day and took over the lead.



With only a little left of the race Dirty Panther galoped for 40 m. Old Thrasher galloped way to long and was disqualified. Dirty Panther was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. Close Stereo were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Dirty Panther galopped for 30 m on the homestretch.




Lonely Sunflower won the race after a spectacular finish.
