The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Solvalla this day. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Delcatty sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. Tia Dalma looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Delcatty couldn't come out from behind the leader, Virtual Diamond. Stopping Necklace suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 30 m. Nothing seemed to be able to stop Tia Dalma today. It continued in the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Virtual Diamond gallopped for 50 m. Delcatty looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch. Delcatty never caught up with Tia Dalma who won. Capon C.s. came third. Results
