One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Electro could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. Killawarra started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Forever kept the speed the whole finish and won before Electro and Foreign Fever.
