One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were More Than Anything. Playing Grove ended up behind the leader. Besessen Stürmen got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 20 m. When the startcar left the field B-movie started to galop and lost 10 m.

This is the positions after 500m. B-movie, Mépris, Playing Grove, More Than Anything, Pinstrip´s Canepa, Besessen Stürmen, Flying Striker, Les Meilleur. A bird flew just in front of Singing News who started to galop and lost 30 m. A bird flew just in front of Lying Galaxy who started to galop and lost 30 m.

Besessen Stürmen sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Unknown galoped after 1000m and lost 50 m. Unknown showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Les Meilleur was disturbed and galoped 20 m.

Playing Grove looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.

Les Meilleur was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Playing Grove looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Ulf Ohlsson tried a little too much on the homestretch and Low Expectations started to galopp and lost 30 m.

Besessen Stürmen made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before B-movie.
