One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Breaking Stardust sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Lieutenant Box galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




License To Win quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. A bird flew just in front of Prime Suspect who started to galop and lost 30 m.




License To Win clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop License To Win today. It continued in the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Lieutenant Box gallopped for 30 m.



License To Win kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Winner of todays race was License To Win. Breaking Stardust came in second. Five Foot Six became third.
