One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Verlenen Stevigheid. Adl Unsurpassed ended up behind the leader. On The Line got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

On The Line quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

On The Line clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.

Verlenen Stevigheid accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Embellie started to gallop after 1500m and Peter Cederin had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

With only a little left of the race New Story galoped for 50 m. Verlenen Stevigheid were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused New Story galop. New Story lost 30 m.

Adl Unsurpassed won the race after a spectacular finish.
