One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Thunder Dynamite found a gap and took the lead.
Go On Pejl followed before
Clear Coast Cherry. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 10 m.
The leader couldn't hold the lead and
Clear Coast Cherry sprinted to the front. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 10 m. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 20 m.
Basslimit looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that
Honourable
Factory couldn't come out from behind the leader,
Clear Coast Cherry. Unknown suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 40 m. Unknown suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 50 m.

Factory followed by
White Rabbit and
Basslimit. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Unknown gallopped for 20 m.
