It had been raining for several days at Skellefteå but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Coughing Starlight could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Big Puma started to galop and lost 30 m.




Haren Soldat quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Coughing Starlight was disturbed and galoped 40 m.




Goldflake took the lead after 1000m. Growing Mustache didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Goldflake followed by Growing Mustache and Big Puma. Lane two Heavenly Pie followed by Coughing Starlight and Ghostbuster.



Day Lady showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Goldflake were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Heavenly Pie won. Coughing Starlight came in second. Growing Mustache caught third place.
