One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Important Key took the lead after a very quick start.




This is the positions after 500m. Frasses Sjätte, Volatility, Universe Ice, Lightning Star, Graziani, Genius Mind, Old Runner, Important Key.




Universe Ice took the lead after 1000m. Genius Mind didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Volatility was disturbed and galoped 40 m. Elmyra Duff galloped way to long and was disqualified.




Universe Ice was still in the lead after 1500m.



Counterfeit Sky was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. Universe Ice sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Jorma Kontio tried a little too much on the homestretch and Field Goal started to galopp and lost 30 m.
