It had been raining for several days at Jägersro but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were
Front
Runner.
Journey Man ended up behind the leader.
Intelligent Mind got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Conrad Lugauer wanted a little to much in the start and Front
Runner galoped for 40 m. Intelligent Mind suddenly started to galop. Johnny Takter had to struggle to get Intelligent Mind to tror again and succeded after 30 m.
Journey Man saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 50 m.
Front
Runner sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 40 m.
Manolo suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 10 m.
Sunset Warrior galoped after 1000m and lost 50 m.
Intelligent Mind saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Unknown galloped for 50 m.
Front
Runner suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.
The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused
Frozen
Sunray galop.
Frozen
Sunray lost 20 m.
Journey Man galopped for 10 m on the homestretch.
Tequila won the race after a spectacular finish.
