The sun was shining on Årjäng today. A perfect day for trotting.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Cute Pearl. Electro ended up behind the leader. Rainy Day got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

This is the positions after 500m. Electro, Counterfeit Galaxy, Cute Pearl, Frozen Moonlight, Crepe Suzette, Rainy Day, Helpful Technology, Forza Di Asso.

Counterfeit Galaxy sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Unknown suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 50 m. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 20 m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Counterfeit Galaxy followed by Rainy Day and Cute Pearl. Lane two Electro followed by Frozen Moonlight and Helpful Technology. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Forza Di Asso gallopped for 50 m. Singing Thinker started to gallop after 1500m and Marcus Hultman had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Counterfeit Galaxy sat safely in the lead after 2000m.

Counterfeit Galaxy sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Sad Tank galop. Sad Tank lost 30 m.

Electro made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Counterfeit Galaxy.
