The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Solvalla this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Sixten De Suite found a gap and took the lead. Clever Night followed before By Myself.

This is the positions after 500m. Polished Strategy, By Myself, Pearl And Diamonds, Intelligent Strategy, Sixten De Suite, Roi De Pique, Clever Night, Power Hero.

By Myself took the lead after 1000m. Polished Strategy didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 20 m.

Intelligent Strategy accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Pearl And Diamonds started to gallop after 1500m and Kaj Widell had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Polished Strategy suddenly took over the lead.

With only a little left of the race Flower Bouquet galoped for 40 m. Polished Strategy kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Kaj Widell tried a little too much on the homestretch and Flower Bouquet started to galopp and lost 30 m.

Roi De Pique won the race after a spectacular finish.
