One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Caesar Cerf took the lead after a very quick start.

This is the positions after 500m. Coughing Peach, Splendeur, Texas Cash, Caesar Cerf, Perle, Solitaire, Banger, Lady Sovereign.

Solitaire sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.

Solitaire was still in the lead after 1500m.

With only a little left of the race Lady Sovereign galoped for 30 m. Solitaire were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Perle galoped way to long and was disqualified.

Caesar Cerf sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
