It had been raining for several days at Haapajärvi but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Stifling Tropic could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Unknown was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m. wanted a little to much in the start and Unknown galoped for 40 m. Unknown galloped way to long and was disqualified. wanted a little to much in the start and Unknown galoped for 0 m.




Greystone Doll quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. driver couldn't keep Unknown to trotting so they were disqualified. Unknown started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




New York Groove took the lead after 1000m. Stifling Tropic didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Session Phlex saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Unknown galloped way to long and was disqualified. Unknown galloped for 20 m.




Truckdriver Melvin seemed to be in top-form this day and took over the lead.



Sneaky Bear suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

Into the Light galopped for 30 m on the homestretch.




Stifling Tropic won the race after a spectacular finish.
