One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Mad Grove took the lead after a very quick start.

In Case Of quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 10 m. Unknown galloped for 60m and was disqualified.

Anreichern took the lead after 1000m. Mad Grove didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Clé De Pologne looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. driver couldn't keep Anreichern to trotting so they were disqualified. In Case Of started to gallop after 1500m and Robert Bergh had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

In Case Of showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Clé De Pologne galloped for 60m and was disqualified. Mad Grove was first on the homestretch followed by Ballack and Vont.

In Your Dreams was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Soul Corner galop. Soul Corner lost 10 m.

Ballack made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Mad Grove.
