The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Åby this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Blazing Arrow sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




Sliding Power saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Encore looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Blazing Arrow couldn't come out from behind the leader, Sliding Power.




Blazing Arrow accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. En Plantet galloped way to long and was disqualified.



Blazing Arrow looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Final standings. 1 Encore, 2 Blazing Arrow, 3 Sliding Power.
