The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Jägersro this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





True Racer took the lead after a very quick start.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Rolling Sunshine sprinted to the front.




Leontine took the lead after 1000m. Sagittarius didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Leontine followed by True Racer and Rolling Sunshine. Lane two Sagittarius followed by Minnesota Express and Focused Puma.



With only a little left of the race Glowing Whirlwind galoped for 20 m. Leontine kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Sagittarius sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
