One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Sergeant Puma sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




Hillsong Tubal was in fine shape and held the lead. Unknown started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. No Hard Feelings was disturbed and galoped 40 m.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Cross today. It continued in the lead.




Moving Hero didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead. No Hard Feelings was disturbed and gallopped for 40 m.



With only a little left of the race No Hard Feelings galoped for 50 m. With only a little left of the race No Hard Feelings galoped for 20 m. driver couldn't keep Urgent News to trotting so they were disqualified. Moving Hero sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

In Your Dreams galoped for 60m and was disqualified.




Sergeant Puma never caught up with Guilty Commissioner who won. Moving Hero came third.
