The sun was shining on Åby today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Slow Scope could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




This is the positions after 500m. Fearless Fighter, Backstabbing Sun, Dream Of Universe, Slow Scope, Movement Mind, Close To Explode, , .




Backstabbing Sun looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Slow Scope couldn't come out from behind the leader, Fearless Fighter.




Slow Scope saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.




Close To Explode seemed to be in top-form this day and took over the lead.



Close To Explode were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Fearless Fighter won. Slow Scope came in second. Close To Explode caught third place.
