One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Hold The Line could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced. Punching Asteroid started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Hold The Line looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Multo Bene T.I. couldn't come out from behind the leader, Bad. Arc-de-triomphe was disturbed and galoped 40 m.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Bad galop. Bad lost 30 m.




Hold The Line never caught up with Arc-de-triomphe who won. Chesapeake Son came third.
